Oscar Party Chatter: What is Craft Service?

In honor of this Sunday's Oscars, NPR is broadcasting a series of reports on Hollywood jobs. Specifically, they are reporting on those jobs that don't come with a corner office and tend to be listed towards the end of the credits.

Today they tackled Craft Services, that mysterious group that is occasionally mentioned in talk show antidotes. It's a fascinating story about a job that includes everything from cleaning up Elephant droppings to getting Cher her bottled water (glass bottles only please).  It's also great conversation fodder for your awards gathering on Sunday, perhaps when those pesky musical numbers run a little long...
