Most Watched Shows of the Decade

In this era of DVR and On Demand, it's hard to gauge people into, to borrow an old phrase, Must See TV anymore (at least live). According to the Hollywood Reporter, seven out of the top 10 most watched episodes of the decade aired in the first half. The winner? The series finale of Friends, entitled "The Last One." (It should be noted that a show could make the list only once.)

"According to the Hollywood Reporter, only one show out of the top 10 most watched episodes of the decade aired in 2006; the others were all from the first half." Actually it's only one of the episodes aired *after* 2006 (American Idol). Two episodes (American Idol and Grey's Anatomy) aired in the second half of the decade.

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.
