Three Shows I Don't Want to See Canceled (But I'm Prepared for Heartbreak)

This is a bittersweet time of year. Sweet, because there are lots of new episodes of great TV to watch (from Battlestar Galactica to Top Chef); bitter because for every piece of good news about renewals comes either word of a cancelation ... or, something almost as bad, silence, or a plea to "watch Show X while you can!" Last year, it was Jericho and New Amsterdam in this boat. This year, well, here's my list ofPrivil shows I want to see for another season:

 1. Privileged. The CW renewed Supernatural, Gossip Girl, the new 90210, even Smallville (what is this, season 20?). But there's no word yet on Privileged, starring the ever-so-charming Joanna Garcia (shades of Amy Adams). A pal of mine considers it addictive but "fast-forward" TV, meaning that she jumps through the Very Special Moments. I think it's a rich-kid show with heart, not exactly Gilmore Girls, but close enough to be worthy. Check out the season (series?) finale here.

2. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Really, you should be watching. This show continues to take the Life Terminator mythology into bold and very human territory, and Lena Headey (300, Imagine Me & You) has made the title role her own. She doesn't have Linda Hamilton's biceps, but her acting muscles are better-developed. Check out this episode, where Bionicles make a creepy cameo.

3. Life. I was burned out on police procedurals. Then I got a look at this show, the story of a cop  imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit, then freed, then unraveling the conspiracy that could have broken him. The show has dialed back the Zen-isms a bit, trading them for literal and metaphorical bullets to the heart. Check out the midseason cliff-hanger.

These aren't the only shows that appear done for. Here's one list, including The Unit and other series a lot of you are watching. What shows do you want to see more of? -- Stephanie Reid-Simons, Amazon Video On Demand

I agree, Life is one of the best shows over the past couple of seasons, and has become one of my favourites I'd hate to see it canceled.

My co-worker and I were just discussing Life. We really enjoy the show, and personally I think Damien Lewis is a great actor. He was fantastic in Band of Brothers, and he hasn't disappointed me in Life.

Well, let's see: Terminator; Smallville; Battlestar Galactica and shows like that all have Science Fiction eliments in them (and let's not forget the great STARGATE series, over ten yrs old) so unless they don't have the same ratings as all those teen-aged soap operas or those damned reality shows, or those court dramas let's just put them on for one season, and then KILL THEM TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER REALITY SHOW OR SOAP OPERAS. After all, THOSE are where the advertising dollars for the Big 4 TV Networks go.

But ya know, soap operas, court dramas of reality shows don't seem to be block-busters at the theaters either. Makes ya wanna go Hmmm.

Actually I'm enjoying this season of Smallville with more Erica Durance and less Kristin Kreuk

I'm not sure if I'm the only person who was watching it, but ABC just announced it was canceling Life on Mars and that's one I'm a little upset about. How could a show with both Harvey Keitel and Michael Imperioli, an interesting plot and really fantastic execution not find an audience? Bummer.

The founder of Gucci, Guccio Gucci was born in 1881 in Florence, once worked as a bellman in London Savoy hotel. Although at that time leather and raw material were a luxury by the war's sake, but Gucci timely exerted originality, and produced lots of cloth bag, which became very popular. In 1939, the four sons of Gucci joined, and Gucci brand also transformed from individual career to family business. In 1953 the first overseas branch of Gucci was established in Manhattan 58th Avenue, which made Gucci became an international famous brand. More to the point, Gucci is the father of the product brand turn nowadays. In order to ensure quality, Gucci printed the brand name on their products, which was the first creative method in the history of the world of fashion.
Since established in 1921, Gucci has been focusing on noble style; the stye is costly and slightly hale masculinity. In 1947 Gucci bamboo hand bag was published, together with Moccasin shoes which carries ring. The Flower Scarf designed for Grace Kelly was well-reputed as well. Wearing Gucci represents a kind of high social status and symbol.
In 1995 Tom Ford chose famous supermodel to show his design for Gucci sexy autumn fashion series on the stage with minimalism while terribly hot image. Ford completely changed the past luxuriant style of Gucci and injected sexy gene to let Gucci become today’s sexiest brand
