Up Close and (Too?) Personal with Captain Apollo

No, young ones, I’m not talking about Jamie Bamber. I mean the original Apollo--ace pilot and sensitive father of one (plus a robot dog)--portrayed by Richard Hatch in the 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica. (He also appears as ex-terrorist and would-be colonial president Tom Zarek on the new BSG.)

We were lucky enough to catch up with Richard a while back, and he took time to chat with us about 30 years of Cylon aggression, a new reality show in the works, and even his love life. (Ladies, it sounds like Apollo is still on the market!)  --Leah Weathersby
