Eureka: Exclusive Interview & A New Season

As a sci-fi fan, I was of course aware of Eureka, a show about supergeniuses relocated to a small, Northwest town -- Northern Exposure meets Stephen Hawking, I presumed. But it took an endorsement from a trusted friend (thanks, Ameesh!) to get me to tune in. And I'm so glad I did. In the best sci-fi/fantasy tradition, Eureka uses its sometimes silly premise to say deeper things about humanity. It's also funny as heck, and as you can see from the interview I had the pleasure of conducting the other day, the cast couldn't be more appealing. Season three just started, and you can find the opening episode here (ad-free), featuring the arrival of the much-feared "Fixer" (Frances Fisher). Looking for something good to watch? It's a no-brainer! -- Stephanie Reid-Simons, Unbox TV Freak
