Stand-up comedian George Carlin died of heart failure on Sunday in Santa Monica, California. A Grammy winner and Emmy nominee, Carlin was best-known for edgy stand-up routines like "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television" and poking fun at the peculiarities of language.
